The Strawberry Festival was today, fun! These events take me back to my Mid-West childhood where we had parades and festivals for every occasion. This was no disappointment with a strawberry throwing contest (in which our daughter won 1st Place!), face painting, a bouncy house, delicious organics, crafty junk, and running around in the grass (and scuffing up your school shoes because mom forgot your play shoes). Perfect weather, nice people and farm veggies...pretty awesome Tuesday.
